Quilt From Our Studio - Blue Charm Square Quilt

We had this fun charm square top to quilt with great color gradation. We thought an all over would help reinforce the cohesive look of the quilt, but what does one choose with very angular and geometric pattern?

In this case, we chose Climbing Ivy Edge-to-Edge. The curvy, flowing pattern with no obvious rows both softens and complements the straight lines.

We think it turned out great! But there was a problem...
The top had a wavy border. Drat!! Watch our new video tutorial on how to fix a wavy border without taking the top off your long-arm machine:

We actually had many beautiful patterns we could have chosen to use on the quilt instead of Climbing Ivy. We picked eighteen others, to be exact, that would have also worked perfectly!  Here are the patterns we chose:
Beautiful Day Edge-to-Edge, Virginia Dogwood Panto 1, Moonlight Edge-to-Edge, Pillow Talk Panto, Calla Lilly Edge-to-Edge, Sea Swirl Edge-to-Edge, Zirie's Ocean Spray Edge-to-Edge, Veni Vidi Vici Edge-to-Edge, Philomena Edge-to-Edge, Mariposa Edge-to-Edge, Flower Power's Cousin Panto, Fall Leaves Panto, Leaves Among Us Panto, Climbing Ivy Ribbon Edge-to-Edge, Sea Swirl Ribbon Edge-to-Edge, Dancing Flowers Edge-to-Edge 1, Milky Way Panto, and Amelia Edge-to-Edge 1.
