The Day and Night Quilt is from the popular Quilt In A Day series by Eleanor Burns. We're big fans of this series, and wanted to create a special matching pattern. We chose to use our ever popular Promise Set for inspiration. The timeless feathers and subtle floral motif tie the strongly geometric lines together. And despite a fabulous visual complexity, a vast majority of the quilting is accomplished with one block, saving you time and hassle!

The quilting was completed by Terry Hanson in Yorktown, VA, and we think it turned out wonderful! This particular quilt is a very special one and was pieced by Christy Jr's mother-in-law, who kindly provided pictures. 

To complete the entire quilt, including multiple borders, just five patterns were used!!! The new Day and Night Block, Promise Border 2 and Corner, Promise Sashing, and the Festive Sashing. All of the designs work perfectly together, and are a great example of mixing and matching designs from different sets!
